Dino A. James is the founder and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of A. James Global Services, Inc.(AJGS), an Industrial and Facility Support company based in Columbia, South Carolina, serving clients throughout the United States and internationally. Mr. James is a graduate of South Carolina State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
AJGS provides on-demand facilities knowledge and consulting. Mr. James has developed strategic alliances to provide clients first-rate solutions, leveraging the knowledge of facility management experts from all over North America. AJGS is the only African American owned company to become a Channel Partner with the Danaher Corporation, a leading worldwide technology firm, and has recently partnered with the Fortune-500 transportation leader, Kawasaki to offer industrial electronic facilities services to the Washington Metro Rapid Transit System in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. AJGS also works with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Secretary of Commerce, the Secretary of Interior and the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency for The Savannah Harbor Expansion Project. This $706 million joint state and federal project dredged 32 miles of the Savannah River. AJGS currently operates and manages the dissolved oxygen injection system, rerouting freshwater flow in the upper and lower harbor, preserving 2,245 acres of freshwater wetlands for the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge.
Because of his reputation as a business leader, Mr. James received an invitation to meet with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Chief Administrator, Isabella Casillas Guzman, to discuss ways the (SBA) can support South Carolina businesses during its economic comeback. As a community advocate in his home state, Mr. James serves on advisory committees for Communities in Schools South Carolina and Habitat for Humanity Central South Carolina and serves as a community partner with the University Industry Demonstration Partnerships (UIDP).
Mr. James has established an endowed scholarship for first generation South Carolina State University students and is especially committed to young leaders and young visionaries who demonstrate innovation, financial aptitude, and personal commitment as they receive education and leadership skills to build world-class businesses.
